Damn fuckin' right.
8 wins in a row... 4 on Yankees...4 on Cardinals.
Quite a fuckin' come-back eh?

1) Two longest post season games in history (won both) 2) Only 2 games ever where one team made 4 errors in two games (won both anyway) 3) Only MLB team to ever come back in a postseason 0-3 deficit. 4) Only team to go 8 in a row in the postseason. 5) First player to ever hit two poles in two stadiums in the postseason (Bellhorn). 6) Schilling's performance has to count for some sort of record hehehe 7) First World series in 86 years, longest any team has ever gone. **corrected by fenrir*
Shit, there's MORE that I can't even think of right now. This is a beautiful day in Boston...I think the term "Massholes" may slowly become extinct. Fuck you, Yankees....your team this year was nothing but a bunch of sniveling Grade A players that didn't step up to the plate. Even if they HAD played well (mariano sucked, jeter had too many erros, Sheffield sucked, A-rod was alright) they weren't playing as a TEAM. I have never seen a team come together like the red sox did this year-using EVER SINGLE PLAYER on the bench in regularity, and EXHAUSTING the bullpen. Truly amazing. Had they written a book on this happening in fantasy 10 year ago, the storybooks couldn't even match up to what really transpired. The people of the Boston metro area all stand taller now, and the babe is no more. The Yankees officially have the worst defensive collapse in Major Leage Baseball history....and to who?
makes me warm and fuzzy inside when I think about it
